Secession Records is an independent techno record label founded in 2018 in Osijek, Croatia, by longtime DJ and producer Volster. Created as a platform for both personal creative output and the discovery of emerging talent, the label has since featured a carefully curated roster of artists including Anthony Linell, Setaoc Mass, Nørbak, Marcal, Arthur Robert, Alarico, Mark Broom, and many others. Known for its raw yet refined sound, visual consistency, and dedication to quality, Secession continues to explore the contemporary techno spectrum through vinyl and digital releases, exclusive sample packs – bridging functional groove with atmospheric depth.

Which music software (DAW) do I need for samples?
All Secession Records sample packs are recorded in 24-bit .WAV 44.1kHz format and can be used in any DAW like Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Bitwig and many others. Samples are compatible with all samplers and sequencers that support WAV format.
Can I release music which contains Secession Records samples?
Yes – once you purchase the sample pack, you’re allowed to use the content in your own productions. All samples are royalty-free, so you can release tracks commercially on any platform.
These samples have been used by respected artists such as Mark Broom, Patrick Mason, Linear System, Flug, JSPRV35, Hedström & Pflug, Franco Rossi and Lyric, which speaks to their quality and reliability in professional production environments.
How are the samples made?
All loops and samples are created by Volster and processed by Koscak Audio. They are crafted using a hybrid workflow that includes both software and hardware.
Software used: Native Instruments, Softube, Plugin Alliance, Arturia, Soundtoys, etc. Hardware used: Elektron Analog Rytm, Digitakt, Digitone, Analog Heat, Roland TR-8, Behringer Edge etc.
Do I need to adjust the loops to my track?
Some loops might require minor time corrections, depending on your groove or swing settings. Patterns are intentionally designed with rhythmic variation to give you more flexibility and character in your tracks.
